I agree with diversity when we are referring to race to a point, but not when we are referring to gender.

While Coke says, white people should be less white, the other side of that is maybe black people should be less black.

I like the new advertising trends. I don’t like some of the commercials, but sometimes it’s good to see another point of view. Without diversity of thought, I wouldn’t have adopted Korean kids. My best friend and trapping buddy wouldn’t have adopted kids from Central America. My boss for many years wouldn’t have been Black. The woman who just took my blood wouldn’t have been Cambodian. I would have grown up white, conservative and protected from ANY thought that was different.

But America has always been a ‘tossed salad’ with some melting of flavors and an over-arching of dressing of being American. There are radishes, black olives, green peppers, jalapeño slices, Italian dressing, feta cheese and so on. We have fat people, old people, Indian peoples, mulattos, handicapped, mentally unstable, geniuses, low-middle or super rich, Downs Syndromed, athletes, slackers, welfare recipients and billionaires. Pick a category. The options are endless.

I don’t understand the appeal of many commercials. Others are so ridiculous I would not buy from that company. But I’m just one of more than 300,000,000 potential buyers so the advertisers have many others who might.
Diversity is here to stay. We can either accept our diversity or be left in the dust.

They have to pander to the "woke" crowd. the commercials have either tranny's, gays or mixed race couples.

Makes me wonder, "are there any straight people that act"?

Makes me wonder, "are there any straight people that act"? Or the ad producers are paying a LOT of money to "brainwash people"!

You can not have "diversity", with out labels, you can not have racism without labels. Diversity is the linchpin of racism.
You, Like jim have this savior complex, and you like to make sure everyone knows. Just so as you "saviors" know, There are alot of Good, White, Conservatives who have adopted children and married partners who "do not look like them".

When they switched from the original Jake Of State Farm to new Jake of State Farm 3 white people lost their livelihood. It just doesn't seem fair. I think they should be filing a lawsuit for being discriminated against because they are white.

I don't have an issue with representation of real demographics. But that isn't what's going on... It's virtue signaling plain and simple.

They put "marginalized" peoples in their commercials under the assumption that you will think their brand is more inclusive and socially aware than their competition... And hopefully that will persuade you to buy their product(s).

It doesn't rely on truth or strength of the product.

It's akin to saying Trapperman is the best website because we are gracious enough to allow leftist dipsticks to participate. We all know that's not why Trapperman is the best website and saying so is an insult to the site and especially the leftist dipsticks... But they'll gobble it up just the same because it is perceived as inclusive.

I think like Morgan Freeman a prominent black Person. Black history is American history, the way to get rid of racism is to quit talking about it.

Morgan Freeman isn't the only black person to have said that.

SNL isn't nearly as good as when Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Dan Akroryd, and that gang.

Best commercials on TV are the ones where the guy is trying to help the folks not become their parents! I love those!
