I first went in with snares for a reason. Then, someone said, “You have 330s, use them.” Even with the wires cut down, I was afraid this would happen.

No season? Or out of season? We have a season. I just hate catching them when there is no market. They aren’t the problem I’m trying to get rid of. That is unfortunate... But remember at least you have the option of using snares and 330's. I'm stuck using gear from a century ago. I would love to have that problem. Lol Mike

If your keeping the fur from the beaver,Your snares are hurting your sale price if not caught around the neck. You trapped red fox and their`s not much of a market for them.So if you look at it like that,an otter is a bonus and you just helped the fish in the area. If you are keeping fox and beaver for their fur in this market you have a problem. lol

From what I’ve seen down here, albeit in just 2 seasons, lord knows there’s no shortage. I’ve killed 4 this year in muskrat traps alone.
April is autism awareness month. Nearly 1 in every 100 children are born with an autism spectrum disorder.. 1 in 100. Stop and think about it...please

No, further east. I’m so accustomed to 159 and 160s the otters have no problem finding their way into them as they hunt rats
