what is it with outdoor forums that have this option?
I'm on quite a few forums and notice those with this feature have "cliques ".
Never been on face book, never will but am glad this site doest have it.
I swear though, on several sites, people check in for no other reason to see if anybody "liked" what they said.
Very few "dislikes" are ever seen but 1000's of likes.
Hate it and had to vent.

It’s stupid and diminishes the forums. It shows new sides of some folks though. This is the last place I have that doesn’t have that option, hopefully the Boss keeps it that way.

I like a forum that allows likes. Some posts are brilliant and deserve a like. I don't see how being able to dislike a post results in anything other than an argument.
I'd vote for a like feature, but not a dislike feature.

I really hate the whole like/dislike culture that has been created. I even see it occurring in our churches, and pastors. So many people want to be liked, and are terrified of being disliked. It is causing people to compromise their values so that everybody will like them.

I actually click (like)to know I have commented on that post.Foe example I congrats alot of people for shooting and trapping,and catching fish.I don't want to congrats another time by mistake.

I do believe there is a like button available in the next version of the forum I'm pretty sure there is on in this version. My forum is the same, or older and it has that option.
