Went to the Midway site today because they list about two dozen different ammo bands and loads for 7mm-08. Off course none were available. Prices were about $75 to $85 per box. No thank you Midway.

Just picked up 3 boxes of 7mm 08 at scheels for $40 a box. I have always been big on midway but not now. Looked on there site the other day and they have Fiocchi 44 mag for $60 a box that’s just crazy!

Yeah, its almost like some people are taking advantage of our freedoms just to make a buck. "I'd like to defend myself against tyranny, any 40 smith in stock?" Then replies the owner,"sure but its gonna cost you out the wazoo!"

As long as people continue to stock pile, hoard and attempt resale at obscene profit margins it will continue.

Stop buying the ammo let it sit on the shelves. Then the reality will sink in to these companies.

I've always been ahead on the ammo. Years when it's cheap and available I buy. Then I don't think about it in lean years. Buy smart

I found some 139 gr 7mm interlocks in stock over the last several weeks and got a box here and there. I have been needing to start loading for the 7mm again anyway. Its hard to spend time on it when I needed brass and hornady American whitetail shoots 2.5 " at 300 out of my daughter's factory 700. So I just kept buying factory bthe last few years for it.

I think the stockpiling days are over. Companies aren't able to get components to make it like they were. Heck can't even get a car. Local dealers have started keeping clunkers that they used to send to the auction because the lots would be empty with out them !!!

Yep same here nothing to panic about really plan ahead then you don't need to blame others or get caught short then.

Thanks the bullet weight is what I look for the heavier bullets are to much for deer but great for elk.

Unless people know what Midway had to pay to get the ammo, who knows who is getting gouged ?

Check online sites and it appears like its up across the board like Leftlane is alluding to.

Vote for more democrats and you'll be lucky to be allowed to buy ammo.

When you look at Midway’s prices and then find it in stock for maybe a couple of dollars over normal price on another site, yeah I think they are price gouging. And this other place is a lot smaller than Midway. Luckily I found all my ammo I was wanting and then some.
