I guess If you have a hunting license your going to have to register your gun. So I'm saying around 70% will. There are a lot of people who buy deer license that do not hunt, they do not want you shooting does. They will be wasting a lot of time imo.

Had a good friend from Amrum, one of the Friesen Islands of N. Germany... He stated when the german govt was confiscating firearms, his folks wrapped theirs up in oil cloth and buried them in the dunes...Nothing to see here..LOL
They were essentially Vikings, tough and independent and didn't like to be told what to do...not like the more law abiding typical Germans I was born and raised on Borkum... another one of the friesian islands.

guess If you have a hunting license your going to have to register your gun. So I'm saying around 70% will. Everyone is a bowhunter. I Not when you have DEER gun license or a waterfowl license. LOL
We have to buy a standard license the covers deer/gun and then a bow stamp. Can’t get the stamp by itself.

No guns in my household will be registered. Before that I sell, bury, or destroy them.

Well since statistics show that almost 100% of crime is committed by about 15 % of the population in the USA,that means that 85% of the population are law abiding citizens-so-if the law says you register your guns or become a criminal, then it goes without question that around 85% of the population will comply.

I don’t what percent but since most of mine were purchased at gun stores I figure they already know.
B Doesn't matter, you could of sold them to a private buyer years ago. I have bought many guns at gun stores and sold them to private individuals. If the state came to get them I'd say sorry sold them. If they ask who I'd have to say I never asked for a name, didn't know the individual. Can't even remember how much I sold them for. Thats the flaw in registering guns. There hundreds of Millions out there and they all were sold originally by a "gun store" they have since possibly been sold many times legally in private sales and there is no record of where they are now. Registering guns is more than just a harmless list of who owns what guns. How many gun owners own more than one gun. I'll bet most would register a small percent of what they own and keep many more unregistered. There would be a big market in unregistered guns. Also if guns were forcibly registered by the state what does that mean for having a gun in possession? Can you borrow a gun from someone for use? Get caught with a gun not registered to you and your in trouble? If you can have a gun in your possession thats not registered to you this effectively makes registering useless.
