Just another bash post on that crap store. Why dont they just drop that name altogether and call it Bass Pro? Used to love getting their ads and once a year id head out to the Mitchell store and blow about 100 bucks on top of whatever i had for club points. Now their add is trash. A “sale” is about 15-20 percent tops. Used to be 50 percent for a lot of stuff. No more bargain bin. The whole fishing part of the ad is baitcasters and bass jigs. Not a plethora of great bass fishin in these parts.

I like the bass fishing part but I had a time even finding some hooks and sinkers for bluegill finally found some after looking for a while. Every thing is priced fairly high and can hardly find what I’m looking for.

Trapping is what built North America, why take that away?

If they were regularly putting stuff on sale at 50%, that stuff was overpriced to begin with.

That's true to a point but it's not like the stuff, other than ammo, doesn't exactly have a fast turnover rate. It has to justify the shelf space.

If you look at whatever the cost of most items in the store besides big items like boats, guns and such, the mark up is over 50%. More if it says Cabelas or Bass Pro.

I've bought some Red Head stuff that turned out to be purdy good for no more than I paid for it. The hoodie I like cost me about $50 and it is every bit as good as the $350 Sitka hoodie
