No, his mom failed him, and were is his dad? For four years this kid failed basically every class and missed 272 days and his mom just noticed something is wrong? Why do we even pay for kids like this to go to school, obviously it did nothing positive for society.

So he missed breakfast and lunch for 272 days. Poor kid is probably skin and bones.

If he's almost top half I want to see the person who ranks last.

School failed him, right. They should keep track of this kid and everyone like him. When he signs up for all the social programs he should be denied based on the " You had your chance law"

What does the rest of the kids under him do? Do they all have to repeat grades? And what king of school is a visual arts school any way? Never heard of that.....jk

sounds like plenty of blame to go around and no one is taking any responsibility.

there should have been a bunch of warnings and calls from he school , she should have been visited many times by the police for the absent days.

it is crazy that he is 62 in his class that means more than half of the class is failing and will probably just get to 18 and drop out

I think this falls under the bigotry of low expectation. expect nothing from the kids , move them along when they don't perform , teach them nothing

either the other 70 some kids in his class have parents who care less or not at all.

that is a problem that will keep plaguing the city and country for generations.

We pay for the very worst people to make more people just like them. If you can't support yourself and children and choose to be supported by others, you should be placed on birth control until you get your life together. You should have no vote too, unless you support yourself and family. Breeding human culls is a major source of wealth for many US companies and politicians. There are human culls in all races. The culls are destroying America.

KeighC well you see her and I are on the same page somebody needs to take responsibility and pay for all dat where we differ is I think She is the one who needs to pay and she thinks it is anyone but her.

sad as it may be there are lots of people willing to adopt kids these days. she should adopt off the youngest 13 or so and her and the oldest 2 can get jobs.

at some point it is about doing what is best for the kids and that may mean getting them good homes and then visiting with them come a holiday via open adoption.
