I'm going to re due my fur hanging hooks this year, coyote ears not drying very good.
How far apart do you all hang your fur to dry?
I'm planning on making metal flat stock and weld hooks to it.
Than screw it to ceiling.
Also I have a wall mount fan .
Is six inches far enough apart?

Mine are 8 inches apart. I take out cartilage and use a light rub of borax. No fan and about 50°F

Remove ear cartilage and spacing of 6" apart should be no problem with good air circulation.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

If you really want to get fancy you can build a forced air system for your coyote boards

I run tea cup hooks on a 1X2 on the ceiling for rats then space them out when yotes go on the hooks. 1 or 2 fans running at all times.

I use alot of borax works very well on the ears and head just check them early as they dry way faster. If you are used to flipping in 10 hours check them at 6 hours . It us no fun trying to flip over dried heads.

I run uninstrut. Spacing is as adjustable as you want it.

Normally I over think stuff but not this time. This is number 9 wire bent with pliars spaced about 6 inches apart on already existing shelving. No way you can get any easier than this, plus with a fan or two it's very effective.

TD I have some of my boards set up like that. Can’t remember where I got the idea from. Might have been you. I’m a uninstrut weirdo. I seem to try and find ways to use it. Lol
Als use machine shed door track as a rail system for butchering deer.
