I can smell 'em from here with that southern sun on those bellies, lol. Must be a constant occupational hazard down there, bad enough here in constant sub zero temps.
Cats and otter worst to green belly down here plus it's so humid your dried hides will mold if you don't keep heat and fans going on them. Then of course this time of year the blow flies start laying eggs on EVERYTHING. Rough place to put up and KEEP hides in any kind of shape before you sell them, lol.
I imagine all them butt sniffers are going in the ditch though, lol.
Thanks .. decent first check for a little sissy 15 trap after work line... we’ll see if they keep messing up with this warm spell setting in... I see a lot of coon skunk and possum in my future lol
... and I stay on the right side of the line Swamp lol
Great job Savell, you sure added to the pile! As for those Viennas.....only one way to do it, you have to compromize the stuctural integrity of that center sausage in order to extricate it's can-mates in a dignified manner. You are, afterall, a Southern Gentelman.
At the risk of being called a darn yankee and receiving the utmost unimaginable ridicule as could ever be faced on trapperman... I googled how to get the first vienna sausage out of the can for ya...
If you can't happen to fashion coon a pecker into a cocktail fork... heres an amazon link for ya.
.. warmed up around here boys....might be slow for awhile... I understand if y’all would rather spend your time looking at one of Leftlanes weird posts instead lol
I’ve always just tipped the can upside down on the cleanest surface around (tailgate) and picked them off there. Vienna’s are easy. It’s the sardines that fall apart and your digging out little pieces in hot sauce or oil.
