Hey Guys and Gals... Have I missed anything as of late? Haven't been on much at all in the several weeks. I have been under the weather, so to speak and the computer and thinking in general hasn't been of much interest. I am feeling somewhat better, but still struggling along. No... it wasn't Covid-19...

I went to the cellar this morning and dug through my freezer to see what all I had left in the way of coon to tan... I was a bit surprised that I had a couple of coon that I have had in there for six years. So will see if they are still able to be tanned. I found 7 coon, 3 ground hogs and 1 possum. I didn't sort out the muskrats, but figure there are 20 to 25 of them wedged amongst everything else. So, I got a couple coon out thawing. I am thawing the the 6 year old coon, to see the condition they are in. Will report back on that later. They are like I do all of my hides... Roll them tight pressing out most all of the air, insert them in a plastic bag and roll them tight.
