or who never plans to shoot it.

maybe they are flat broke after the rifle and two boxes and they can't beg borrow or steal any more money

i got one customized stock sights etc great hunting rifle capable of everything i may run into mostly bear and whitetail deer, i got plenty ammo here for it buts its mostly british ww2 ammo use for taargets only use old remington ammo for hunting banchee

Nope, got a 303 Savage though.

I've got 2, one of those was my deer rifle until 3 years ago when I got a couple more modern calibers. Don't need any ammo for it though as I've got plenty of brass, and some bullets for it.

Larry Bowden do you load your own ammo for your savage. I have not been able to find any for a few years in Canada for my 303 savage.

303 British I can get just about anywhere they sell ammo here.

I have a sporterized No.5 “Jungle Carbine”. Absolutely love it. Dropped my biggest buck in the thicket with it.

Our family had a 303 British, 8mm mauser and a 30-06 Enfield when I was growing up. Grandad said some guy had a dump truck full of military guns after the war he was selling for 5 dollars each so he bought 1 of each. Grandad cut the stocks all down and refinished.

I have the Enfield, my oldest brother has the 303 and my next older brother has the Mauser. We drug alot of meat in with them over the years.

My dad gave my son his 303 before he passed away. Hes shot a crapload of deer with it

The 303 was the worst shooting one we had of military guns. Bore wasn't very good.

I like the 303 british. Very accurate for peep sights. Got a couple of moose with it. I reloaded quite a few rounds and have on hand for hunting whale.

I have one. It's mounted on a tripod and points into the air. It also has this giant magazine that comes out the top of the gun.

It also weighs a ton.
