Yes.

Your wrong Flint lock as a rule. Maybe some gun show operators require it, but its not state law unless its a FFL dealer or a pistol.

Chief Justice is doing the bidding of the left because he is being blackmailed over his trips to Epstein Island!

So we won’t have to go to WDC to kill the enemy.

Yes, you're still wrong. Nothing personal, no hard feelings and I don't mean to disrespect you. What you are saying is factually incorrect.

Hippie's information is correct. And yes, lots of gun show operators and even estate sale auctioneers will require a background check in order for you to buy a firearm. I believe this is a way for them to make additional money as the ones I attended charged the buyer for that service.

I recently bought an AR. The owner wanted to do the transfer at an FFL "to keep it legal." I told him it was not required but he didn't believe me. So we met at an FFL dealer I use and went inside where the owner told us what I already knew; "There is no background check required for the private sale of long guns,"

Background checks are required for handguns.

There is no such thing as gun registration in PA. It is illegal for any state, city or local government entity to keep such a list.

Eh...wot?

Doesnt matter. The expanded background check fiasco passed the house. Better start contacting your senators. It also removes the time limit on checks. So if the jack booted thugs quit doing checks there are no legal sales.

The only way this bill gets enforced is a gun registry.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

The question is how to not comply if this becomes law, other than non-compliance of private sales?

Same way you comply with the speed limit on the interstate.

Actually, you already get that. My apologies J, I missed the question.

Try this, have the person that “stole” the firearm pay you to not call the police.

And Biden and Co. threatened the conservative justices with packing the court. If the conservative justices do their job Biden might just increase the number of justices to 12, or 15, or 20 and appoint more radical leftists rendering the conservatives on the court powerless. By not taking these kinds of cases they get to continue to weigh in on less important things. If they take on a gun ban and overturn it, they will never get to rule on a case again.

The left is sneaky.

Guys you are wrong. Not that I would ever accept wikipedia information as legally defensible, but even that reference clearly states the following if you look past the columns:

All private party transfers of handguns must be processed through a licensed dealer, or at a county sheriff's office. In either case a background check is required.

So the statement "PRIVATE TRANSACTIONS ARE EXEMPT FROM BACKGROUND CHECKS IN PA" is incorrect.

Couple years ago I sold a handgun to my brother-in-law and we had to go to a gun store and do all the FFL paperwork and background no different than had he bought the gun there or from Gun Broker, or anywhere else. Same is true at gun shows.

The only exception I am aware of, and that I don't even see in the wikipedia page, is transfers among family like parents to children or grandchildren. Make sure you know the laws before you attempt a "private transaction."
