I haven't seen any statistics but anecdotal evidence seems to indicate more divorces than normal lately. My best friend's wife served him just after New Years. Married over 40 years. Well off - no money problems. No cheating. 2 adult children doing well. No real reason other than she now hates him. Another hunting buddy got the word last week. No cheating. Wife of 23 years looking for " more excitement". She ran off with his brother! Possible Dr. Phil show. I'm just wondering if being cooped up with your spouse due to covid is bringing a lot of marital strain to the surface or if these are anomalies. Luckily my bride of 44 years hasn't tossed me yet. LOL

More divorces wouldn't surprise me at all. I am thankful for my workshop and garage. My grandpa always said his shop saved his marriage.

Lots of domestic call increase to cops I have heard. So yes I'm sure divorce rates have gone up as well. The only thing that has changed for me was the lack if traffic during the lockdowns on my drive to work. And I think my wife still likes me.

So that's the key? Note to self, try to be less exciting, invite brother over more often.

All those little annoying habits you can’t get away from must drive each other crazy sitting around for months now, me I stay gone most of the day heck I lost #15 just keeping busy.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Less dependence on each other when daddy government just mails out checks or you get 900 a week on unemployment not to work.

Being cooped up with your spouse should mean more babies being made, or at least lots of practice grin

Perhaps she still likes you because you are still going to work. Just sayin'.

I only work 14 days out of 28. Just started my 7 days in a roll off for this month. I'm so busy with the farm even when I'm home I'm out working on farm stuff not sitting in the house with my wife all day. She is also busy with hers farm work, homeschooling the kids, and hers projects.

Some people have little besides work and watching tv and sports. It's a lifestyle difference.

My wife went from for reproduction to for entertainment only but lots of practicing is good for a marriage.

My wife and I have been together for 44 years now, married for 38. During COVID I have now worked from home for just about a year now. We have had a blast and I think have gotten closer than we ever have through all these years. We've always worked as partners in anything we approach and this time has been no different.

Yes, we are really looking forward to being able to get out and about again, but this last year has been fun for us...two best friends hanging out together,
