Maybe true, maybe not. But the Epoch Times is a media front for a Chinese religious group. They're pretty antichina. Then again there's not many religious groups that are friendly to China.

The religious group that owns Epoch Times was supported by the Chinese Government and then suddenly was not. I don't trust either.
Keith CCP despises all religions and it's getting worse under Xi, especially after he got made president for life.

The Epoch Times will print stories that main stream media wont. I dont trust many sources these days outside of Just The News, but these guys are one of the better papers IMO. They have an agenda and it isn't just media market share. I'm not saying they are wrong here--it was merely a heads up because their motives require a little research. I hate citing Wikipedia but it will work for now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Epoch_Timeshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falun_Gong Probably isnt an organization out there I trust less than wikki

Well, here's one from USA Today for the skeptics. It really doesn't take a lot of searching to find nearly half or more of Americans are either hesitant or refusing to get the experimental vaccine. Pick your news source of choice. https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...icians-await-clinical-trails/3865080001/And on the converse, I am not seeing any article stating any number of majority of Americans want to get or are getting the experimental vaccine. All I hear are a bunch of half arse cheerleaders who tell half or less of the story. An opinion poll of "nurses and other health care professionals" isn't even close to credible science. It wouldn't be published in a medical journal. It wouldn't be admissible in a court of law. This story is useless for all purposes other than showing that nurses likely get their news off of Facebook (or T Man).

And USA today isn't a right wing paper in it's best day. Better than most national rags though.

BlaineC, While I'll agree with you it would never get printed in a credible med. journal, or admitted into an actual court case. What it will do though is to confirm to those hesitant about getting it if the local medical professionals are hesitant about getting it.
My wife's work didn't make it mandatory, and about half in the ER she works in got it. There are varying reasons why. A couple of them are because they are of child bearing again and don't want to screw that up. If you know anything about nurses they have some of the most horrible medical conditions. It's ingrained in them to take care of everyone else. What suffers the most is their own health. So a lot of them have conditions that the vaccine hasn't been fully tested yet on people with their conditions.
I have 5 specialists I see for various things. Only one of them actually tried pushing me into getting the shot. The others said for me to do me. If anyone of those doctors would've said absolutely not to me getting the shot I would never get it. I made my own decision and decided to get it. Not out of a care for not getting COVID, but for being able to see my elderly parents and mother-in-law without many restrictions.
Millions of trees die every year to print environmentalist publications

Not out of a care for not getting COVID, but for being able to see my elderly parents and mother-in-law without many restrictions. This is a much more reasonable approach. Nurses can have opinions based on what they have seen--the anecdotal evidence. But, those collective opinions do not equate to scientific proof of anything and I am concerned that their hesitancy is based more on what they read on social media instead of what they have actually observed. I am getting the vaccine for the same reasons as you next week.

Sniper--Polls about how people feel on any issue are not science.
If I ask a room full of people whether they like birthday cake and 80% say yes, it indicates nothing other than 80% of people in that room like birthday cake. The poll proves nothing about birthday cake other than some people like it. You think nobody knows that? Polls exist to push opinion, not reflect it.

My girlfriend works at Mayo. She is far from any sheep and about as skeptical as they come. She has done tons of her own research and well as talked to other doctors about the vaccine. After months of research, she got the shot.
My ex wife is a RN who works with Covid patients. She got it as well.
That said I probably won't get it. To each their own.
