MTP has BADs. Lazy or not they are pretty simple to put on.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

If your going to buy snares or CRs with BADs make sure you get them with J hook type BADs. I had way to may BAD failures when having them built with the ferrule type BAD.

Notice how they don't make them for the slick 1x19 3/32 cable Beav uses. That is why he had failures. You have to use the correct ones for the cable you are using if you want them to work correctly.

Well you would think the person building those CRs would have know what type of BADs to use on 1X19 cable. Then when I complained about the failures they just tell me to take a hammer and use a little TLC on the BAD.

That doesn't mean the BAD's are flawed, only that the maker made a simple mistake in buying them for the right size but wrong lay of cable. No worse than you continuing to use them after the problem was identified.
