Anybody have one? Like it? Thinking about making the move away from springers.

I'm itchin' to see a coyote twitchin'.

More trappin' and less yappin'.

I have the maximus which is the step right below it and love it. Don't think I've heard anything bad about the marauder. Well except from some of the Brits I talk to bet their over critical about everything laugh

The poor brits are limited to just 12 fpe. I'd complain, too.

Anyone know if you can put iron open sights on a marauder?

I have the Marauder in 22 and really like it. The accuracy is unbelievable. I just bought a Kratos in 25 to try out too.

You can't go wrong with a Marauder. I have the 22 and plan on getting a 25 also. Mine is one of the first ones and never had an issue. Super accurate and very quiet. I fill mine with a tank and the tank lasts a long time. Highly recommend it!!

I have a Benjamin Fortiitude which is basically a tuned down Marauder. It's listed at 800 fps vs the Marauder at 1,000 fps in .22 caliber. The Marauder comes with a better trigger and the pistol grip on the Fortitude is erganomically a little thick. You can't go wrong with a Benjamin PCP. Super accurate. Lots of shots per fill. The shrouded barrel makes them very very (I'm hunting wabbit) quiet. For most uses the extra power of the Marauder would be a benefit. I bought the Fortitude for a job cleaning pigeons out of the ballpark. The slightly lower power helped with less paint damage and pass throughs then my other airgun options. Average shot on pigeons is about seven yards but the gun can easily be stretched out past 50. An adjustable objective scope is a must have on a PCP airgun.

I also have a Career .25 that I use for heavier stuff. Stepping up to .25 really makes the gun a thumper. The Career is not shrouded, is less accurate and it's really loud. If/when I replace it, it'll likely be with a Marauder in .25 caliber. I've shot a lot of raccoons/possums with air power. The .25 is in a different league than the .22

You may want to research the umarex gauntlet. I believe it has a larger reservoir capacity than the marauder and takes the same magazine as the marauder. I get about 60 good shots to a fill out of mine. Down side is its not quite as powerful as the marauder.
