Any tanneries close by where you can drop off directly? $185 worth of gas will get you pretty far.

I go to a feed store and get a poly feed sack and just use a large black permanent market to write the address. Then I go back to the store and have them sew the sack shut for me with their machine. The pelts are slightly rolled in that situation and even though it is still spendy at least you're not paying for a big heavy box too.

Find a molding box and cut it down to size the overall size of that TV box was the killer on the price. I go store to store here until I find a box that will works or I can a big box I can make into what I need.

Keep your package under 108 inches girth plus length. Ship Standard mail (or whatever the name for parcel post is these days)! Mail prices are slowly putting me out of business. P.S. Prices are now more a function size than weight these days.

I sent 8 or so beaver to a tannery a few years ago rolled up and slid into a Sonnet tube . I made ends for the tube from some heavy cardboard and tapped them up good . It worked like a charm and wasn't that expensive . I got the idea from someone on here several years ago . I thought about this and really couldn't figure out how to roll more than eight. Not even sure I could do that with our thick hided XL to XXL beavers. You would be my hero if you could do eight of mine.

I haven’t had any beavers tanned, but I have always been very happy with Z&L in New Jersey. If I had to ship beavers I’d try to roll them

Then roll one at a time and put them inside the ones you already have in the box. I find it works better if you save the smaller and thinner ones for last. Suggest you wrap the box up really good before stuffing them in or you might blow out the box before you finish. Seems I can always get 2 or 3 more in this way.

Not any that compare to moyles quality. Have you tried Sleepy Creek in Iowa? I've heard from a couple different sources that Spee Dee is cheaper than any other delivery service (if available where you're at).
