but if you want your people on the dole so you can skim by all means don't make farming or anything else viable for your people.

I am going to guess this is revisionist history that when man and wolf fought for the same food , that man respected the wolf but controlled wolf numbers in order to keep eating.

to the Cree the bear is most sacred , doesn't mean they didn't eat them , just that the bones were given a place of honor.

I don't know if the Ojibwa practiced any form of predator management traditionally or not but I can only imagine it would take a distant back seat to other pressing modern concerns like politics and casino management....

On the other hand many Alaska Natives traditionally understood and still do understand and support predator management.

Haaland will probably try to end wolf hunting and trapping on BLM lands in the west. Don’t know if she can do it, though.
