Looks like the progressives are trying to get this passed in Colorado......Animals cannot be slaughtered until they live 25% of their life expectancy.

Bet the chicken is going to be a little tough...... [Linked Image]

How about we only allow meat that has been handled that way into their supermarkets -- including meat processed overseas. No loss to me as I will not go to colorado now - even to visit.

It is a ballot initiative set for next year. Will essentially shut down ranching, certain veterinarians, guide and outfitters, a lot of animal related business.

A nation run on feelings won’t be around very long, the people with no dog in the fight making the rules for the people that know what their doing is stupid. It’s like failure is the end goal with these morons.

We always tried to replace our cows by the time they were 12 years old. I’m not sure where they came up with 20. Crazy.

Looks like he needs another year;-)

How much would it cost you to feed a cow for 5 years (25% ..of A 20 year life expectancy) ....?

Will they ban the show Dr. Pol too? Im forced to listen to that show and half the show is him or his fellow vets sticking their arms up a cow's butt.

A meat chicken bred to kill at 6-8 weeks will not be able to walk when it is 2 years old. A pig bred to kill at 300 pounds in a few months time will weigh what in 3 years? And a beef steer fed for 5 years will become an oxen. And have how much fat to trim and toss when slaughtered? The quality of the meat animals lives would go backwards as they will be over weight and beak down, and the quality of the meat will go down as it is too fat, etc. Beef is supposed to age in the cooler room or fridge, not on the hoof.

They OK with slaughtering a human fetus though? Probably don't give it a second thought, do they?

But they have no problem killing babies before they’ve lived out a single day of their life. These people are sick and disgusting!

At what point will this lunacy end?

Tell you what, these petitions should be used as a round up and deport list. They keep it up and we'll have no choice but to rid ourselves of them.

Any state that allows ballot initiatives to be allowed by a certain percentage of signatures from eligible votes is where the anti's and liberals have a field day. Any state that allows these will be fighting this kind of crap from now on. Best thing that could happen would be to initiate a ballot initiative to eliminate ballot initiatives and get it to pass. Doubt that could ever be done in those states.
