Hey guys, is anyone here around the Ann Arbor area? How’s that part of the state for beaver trapping? Thanks!

Ave don't go where the beaver don't flow

It's not beaver country. There'll no doubt be a colony here or there, but no numbers. If somebody knows the area better than me I'll stand corrected.I never trapped the area, but I did around the Flint area which is north of Ann Arbor and while I did trap beaver there it's not beaver habitat either.I don't know where exactly your looking but Ann Arbor is a college town and wall to wall antis.Id be careful.

X2. If you want beaver go north a couple hours. I'm 30 miles south of Ann Arbor and beaver haven't yet came back from being extirpated in the late 1800's. I expect beaver in my area in another 20 years or so but it isn't very good habitat so we won't ever have a large population.
