Its a very rare fishing lure that I would call a pot of gold. I haven't added to my collection in a decade or more. I think you have some cool wall hangers.
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

No expert, but everything I see is pretty modern. Nice bunch of lures though. Yes, the plastic cases show that they are not super old. The really old stuff usually comes in a cardboard box.

I don't see anything there that jumps out at me as being more than user baits. You got some good ones though. Some of the older wooden stuff that is worth some money the collectors really like to have the original box too from what I have seen.

You have some very cool stuff there. There are a few that I don't even recognize.
I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

That is a great haul. Even if not very valuable, they are fun to use in a shadow box. Believe it or not, those lures still catch fish!
If you are interested, I will buy the Heddon Skitterpops and any Smithwick Devils Horse lures. The Skitterpop is my wife’s topwater bass lure. I like the Devils Horse for topwater.
I had a great collection of lures, with many new old stock in original boxes. I built up that collection between 1965 and 1990 - some were quite rare. Most of it was stolen - by a family member.

This thread made me think about a plug that my dad gave me when I was about 5............so it is at least 20 years old It is called the Muskie Minnow. From the Creek Chub Bait Co. As far as I know it has never been in the water. About 5 inches long and solid silver color. Propeller fore & aft, yellowish eyes and two treble hooks. In the original CARDBOARD box

Lots of great plugs in that batch. I was expecting to see a Jitterbug or two.... my favorite back in the 60's and 70's. I remember an overnight canoe trip at Boy Scout summer camp in southern Missouri in the late 60's. It was a magic night where I caught a nice bass on almost every other cast on a Jitterbug from the canoe.
After that, the purple Beetle and Beetle Spin were magic for me over spawning bass.
Anybody remember the Bushwhacker? It was deadly too.
Pete Jitterbug is one of my favorites. Back when I was a kid I saw an add in a magazine of a Jitterbug painted like a redwing blackbird. I've always wanted one like that but could never find one. And don't forget the Hula Popper! Another classic.
