White, !! I wish I could say that was a November wolf, but that was caught in January. I’m not sure if the freeze thaw that we had all winter is the reason for the poor fur or what. Very warm winter this year. It wasn’t lice or mange. Just real crappy fur.

Dude, I'd be proud to pay for that on my wall. And being your first one proves you're a natural. The skinny nose thing is very subtle, hardly noticeable from the front but it stood out more in your first pic. It's not the whole nose, just the base that could be a little wider to make it slightly more triangular. That's my take anyway. Now I've got wolf shoulder/neck mount on my wish list.
Boco couldn't catch a cold. But if he did, it would be Top Lot.

I’m going to take more notes on the nose for the next one. These mounts are perfect for a wolf that doesn’t have the fur quality for sending to auction or life size work!

I have to admit, that looks pretty good. A lot better than what I was imagining and a heck of a lot better than your selfies! To be honest, I’d put that on the wall. What ? JP on your wall? That would be more scary than his selfies!!!

Looks great JP. Especially that frontal pic. 8 kids, holy cow man. You'll have to get a bus drivers license!

This Wolf won’t be killing anymore deer! Just finished this one! Thought some of you guys would like to see it. Not too often you get to see a shoulder mount of a Wolf. Whether it’s good or bad, still neat to see! Something is off? Something with the snout and mouth lines. Doesn't look natural. Eyes are good though. Not a shoulder mount, more like a head mount. It's a lot better than I could do, but I wouldn't pay for it.

If you look at a shoulder mount deer how many of them have the total shoulder in there? Very few. Most of them end just in front of where the shoulder would be. It's just a name.
I personally love the look of the mount. It has that "I'm grrrrrr'ing" look about it. Not a full blown teeth showing snarl/growl. It's more of a "One more step and I'm going to eat you" look.
Also if you look at it laying on the ground you can see the snout in the mount is exactly how it looked alive.

The eyes make the mount look alive. You did a great job on the eyes.
I don't care how nice the hand soap smells, you should never walk out of the restroom sniffing your fingers.
