Someone on this forum had used walleye fat as a lure/bait base. (Don’t think I’ve ever caught an overly fatty walleye so I was unfamiliar with his comments. ). Anyway, my partner has about half gallon of walleye fat he got from somebody and we’d like to make something with it. Can anyone remember who posted about walleye fat? If so, can you send me the link? Thanks in advance.

I make a few gallons of walleye oil every year. Our lake Erie walleye are loaded with fat. I pull the pure fat out of the walleye guts. Sun renders very fast. Done this way it's almost all oil. I use it mixed with other oils
