Man, I remember being a child when $250 was a big setback. Ahh the good old days. Now that's about the cost of a truck tire. Yes it's a good bit of money, but it's part of life and it could be a lot worse. Just wait til you see grownup bills Ethan!
Also, post kid topics on the kid forum.

I’m sure someone has some wood to stack or brush to cut around you. You have to get out there and ask.
B Stacking and splitting wood ain't that a good way to spend a entire summer.

Ok i got to go cut some grasss in an hour hopefully i get around 50-75$ Do a good job, charge them what it's worth, not what you want to make. Then ask them if they know of anyone else needing any work done, and tell them about needing to make money to pay off your debt.

How about the Trapperman discretionary fund? How bout no? He broke his stuff, he works to get it fixed. Responsibility learned. He's been getting lots of help by the sounds of it as well. He'll get his stuff right.

Lots of work to do in the the rain young man. You wouldn't put off trapping because of rain would you? Not to mention indoor work. People always need work done and will pay if you show yourself to be hard working. This work ethic will spill over into all forms of life activities and make you a better man. A hard working man is respected.

Ok ill see if i can find any work in the rain You missed the indoor work part. Painting, cleaning out clutter in an attic/basement, the possibilites are are only limited by your imagination. . Don't fall into that wo is me it's just bad luck nothing I could do about it mind set. Had you not put your equipment where it was likely to get broken it would not have happened. Own it and learn from it which you seem to be doing. Also don't over look thing like buying or making things and selling for most profit. Like a non running lawn mower with clogged carb from sitting all winter. Free or cheap to hall off normally clean or replace the carb drain and fill the gas tank then put on craigslist or just for sale in your yard. You can learn a lot about small engines and once good at it have another nice side business doing small engine repair.
