Rustoleum also has a product called creocoat in clear and black that carries an in ground warranty. I image it is also copper based as the creosote of old is now "bad for you".


CuNap is good stuff. Wear gloves and keep fresh air. It makes any wood almost as good as pressure treated. It's a MUST for ground contact. Most stains & paints do not help much in ground contact.

We soak fence post in old motor oil and get a lot of years out of them

Get the organic stuff...dirt...out of there and replace it with gravel. Wood will last a lot longer in contact with gravel than it will in contact with soil.
