lots of mink trapper Joined: Jul 2010 Posts: 1,436 saskatchewan/canada	The only difference is the chain and number on the pan. The 44 was mainly sold to government agencies or states. They had a more heavy duty chain and swivel set up.

cohunt trapper C Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 2,445 revillo, sd	Deerhunter51s two different #44 traps exhibit two different swivel and attachment links often found on Newhouse 44s. The trap on the left in his first photo and in his second photo has a Kenwood base link and swivel while the trap on the right in his first photo and in his third photo has the base link, swivel and cold shut found on traps produced later.
