My wife took this picture right before things got interesting. This was a 58# female beaver with a front foot caught in a 330. Once I latched on she exploded and popped out of the trap. Good thing we were in the water as I don't think I could have matched her strength on land. Roll after roll. All I could do to just keep up with her. It finally ended. The Death Ray is a well made tool but I'll remember the pistol! [Linked Image]

I bet that got western in a hurry! The cable will twist at the connection, untill you tighten it up, then not so much. I've had bigger critters like that, wrench the DR out of my hands, but yours was a whole different level, when that foot popped out of the trap. Glad it worked out for you!
