It was a tad windy down here in Ames too

One of the most miserable windy days I have seen in awhile. Its still howling right now. We came up with a new weather "terminology" today. Forecast was for 30 mph hour winds with gusts to 50. However by afternoon we deemed it 50 mph with "30 mph reprieves" , it was (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) insane!! Blew the roof off the lumber barn at the Topeka, KS Menards store today.

Looks like a lot of open land! Open crop land, hardly any wind break, still feels like dirt in my eyes lol

Haha! Looks like ole pup is on a moving 4-wheeler. Lol, ya , both side pose pictures I had the wind had her ears up in the air. She loved it, when I was getting truck hooked up to the trailer, she's in kennel , whining, almost howling, don't forget me!!!

Not sure what’s happening down below, but they are saying we could see a light frost Friday morning! And 20-30mph sustained winds Thursday. Long ways south for frost I bet, it was 70-73° today here

Probably just strong enough and was at the right angle to take something that had been there a while. I've trapped in Wyoming and had 50+° mph wind, I missed 2 days of 70 mph just before I arrived to trap. Once driving across the shirley basin it was 70 mph Brutal

Wow! And here I thought in KS this is just considered a stiff breeze! Personally, I HATE wind!

Blew me all over the road on my drive home yesterday.
Calling for frost here tonight... Wife thought I was a bit crazy but I told her I wanted to hold off on planting the garden for a bit longer... Looks like my intuition paid off.
