Is this a trapper modification or possibly a prototype? There are no marks where jaws have been removed and the chain is really long. I don't see any scars from using tools to change jaws or where the chain was spliced together. Thanks for any help! I just thought it was a neat jump trap.

If you clean where the double jaws meet the regular jaws look for evidence of welding in that area. I would suspect someone welded in a set of double jaws. In the one picture it looks like weld spatter.

Oc did make jump traps in double jaw cast versions but I would suspect your trap is trapper modified.
