No,

The old boards are still running but the administrator who started
the old board has not logged in since September 27th, 2020
and the website was being inundated by spammers + other
problems so It was decided to start a new site with an active
administrator who will keep the site running in a timely fashion.

The old site had accumulated 60 members since September
and hopefully most will register on this new website/message board.

The correct website for the New York State Trappers Association is: nystrappers.org A posting was made on that site as of March 30, 2021, yesterday. There is another site, the New York Trappers forum which is not part of the NYS Trappers Assn.

There sure was a lot of Chinese writing on the site made in September. I'll see you over at the new one in the next couple days Walleyed.

the New York State Trappers Association.

This is an independent website for New York State trappers
that has nothing to do with NYSTA.

It is designed and intended to be an alternative information source for New York State's
14,000 trappers, 80% of whom do not maintain a membership with NYSTA.

Please stop trying to confuse the issue with unrelated information
that has no bearing on this thread.

Walleyed , I tried to join but I need them to send me an e-mail with some kind of activation code . I didn't get it . I hit resend a few times but no activation code was sent . I did check my spam folder also , nothing there .

Send an e-mail to the administrator about it.

I'm not personally involved in running the site,

He strikes again! Is this an early april fool's joke?
When the New York State Trappers is mentioned one assumes that he is talking about the association. My mistake.
Of course he would not be talking about them because he does everything he can dream up to bash the NYS Trappers Association and in particular,John Rockwood, Von Strahn, and myself..
He has so much time on his hands trying to tare down our association rather than helping to improve it.
Seems like he just can not let go of the fact that the Association agreed with improving the quality of fur caught too early. He enjoys calling Rockwood and I names. The truth is that Rockwood alone did not bring this about. There are seven members of the JTI committee and they all approved the proposal.It was then brought to the officers and directors and again it was approved. There was not one negative vote.
Just how many times have you been thrown off a trapping website? And why?Wake up and smell the roses!

Bob and Al, play nice before the bossman shuts the thread down and the new site loses any visibility here. He has allowed the informational thread to be started, lets keep it that way, informational.
