Empty slop bucket in the corner with a climbing pole. They'll jump right in. Minnow trap along the edge of a building in the grass works good outdoors.

Best check daily as a minimum as they are cannibals. Saw a tin cat not checked for 2 days. There was 12 tails and 1 mouse alive.

water in the 5 gallon bucket or they will eat each other
there are a lot of video's on variations of the bucket trap some really cool ones with night vision camera footage of exactly how they approach and get caught
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

But they sure are fun to put out, I might build some to sell at the local get togethers building them is 1/2 the fun.

In my experience, the effectiveness of a bucket trap depends largely on food availability. When the mice had plenty of food they wouldn't bother climbing the ramp, even for peanut butter. Farther away from the food source worked better. If the mice are hungry a bucket should work great. I'd use water rather than antifreeze of you're using them for bait.

antifreeze don't bother trapping i have use it for years , you can rinse them off with water if you want , that's what I do I did not think the newer antifreeze would work. I know the old stuff worked.
