What's your opinion on the cable restraint season extension? Me personally I don't have enough experience to have a stance on them.

As a bird hunter would you rather have your dog caught In a CR versus a MB 650?

I’ve said it before and I still have the same opinion....leave the cables in the shed until the deer hunters are on the couch. probably a good idea

When we did the coyote study we were allowed to use CRs and we caught a fair amount of coyotes In them. You don't need snow on the ground to catch coyotes In CRS.

Well, I just heard the anti-trappers are organizing a huge movement to ban trapping altogether in Wisconsin using the online voting system. It started in Dane County...of course...and they will be shotgunning it from virtually all other counties. I have a good inside source on it so watch this thread for more information.
Moosetrot Except this vote is really meaningless. I mean, it gives some direction but just because something passes via vote, it doesn't mean it'll become law. In my opinion, this entire process is defunct.

My sources told me they are going at it through Resolutions.
Moosetrot I don't believe there's any binding, public vote that can accomplish this. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, folks. This was a weak, ill-conceived, and failed effort at an April Fools joke.
