I still have a lot of mine. Sold off some good ones during the last collecting craze. Had mostly 60’s. My kids collect in late 80’s early 90’s. They still have them.

I still have a pretty healthy collection of 70 80s and 90s football cards. With a few baseball cards. The rarest most sought-after collector cards are locked away in a safe.

I still have mine, but being born in the early 80’s, im guessing a lot my age still do. Theyre worthless, but i figured my kid might like them. Anyone who would have had 50’s or 60’s cards still have them ir did you stick all of them in your bike spokes. My mother got killed by a drunk driver. My brother and I ended up living with an elderly aunt and uncle. My not so wonderful grandmother and grandfather were executors of my mothers affairs. I had a really good baseball card collection going on because I was a enthusiastic fan. I had some great cards of some tremendous players. Mickey Mantel, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, and on and on. My grandparents sold my baseball card collection, my baseball bats, my catcher mitt and fielders glove, my bike, etc. etc. I am sure my grandfather drank all of it away. He was what they called a go getter. He always took my grandmother to work then he would go get her. I was old enough to start learning about human behavior and recognize what kind of person I did not want to be. True story.

The gum in those card packs tasted like cardboard. I never bought it

I did have two milk crates full of comics. Most were 12 cents except the “classics”. Stuff like Moby Dick. Twice the pages and cost a quarter. Mom tossed them while I was boot camp. Who could have known some of those would be serious money 50 years later
