I'm looking at getting a new tractor and these two have my intrest so far.

I'm a kobota fan from past experience on the b series but though I would see what else was offered looking at larger models.

My primary use will be on 96 acres for bushhoging and loader work. And using to move logs when doing residential tree work. Eventually maybe square bailing in the future.

The farm all is narrow at 67.5" vs 74 for the kobota so will fit on my trailer the kobota won't. They are close in price. Any reasons to go with one over the other ?

Dealer owns shops that sell both about equal distance. Honestly I like the dealer much further away. So its a wash.

I'm kind of leaning towards the kobota I think I may be able to get 3" more modifying my trailer. I need to look at it harder.

I have the Kubota Mx5100. It has been a great tractor , I use it for everything around the farm from putting up hay to pulling logs. Great tractor I don't think you will be disappointed if you choose the Kubota. Eric

The “Farmall” is a Case tractor. Honestly they’re both good tractors. You’ll typically get more for your money with Case, but when buying used its more a matter of hours and wear. Kubota parts should come with lube if you know what I mean, they’re as bad as Deere with part prices. No tractor parts are cheap, but Kubota and Deere are especially ridiculous.

I've owned, and still have several Kubota tractors, UTV's, and machinery. NEVER had any issues with any. Maintenance is not as costly as some other brands IMHO. . . and I've had Case, IH, JD, Cat etc.

I have a mx5100 used for bushogging only. Great tractor, no issues. Run a JD 6 ft cutter no problem. Bought new in 2011, change oil every year and keep air filters clean. Nice tractor, earned her keep
