An scrub brush or wire brush ? Or is hot power wash soap car wash lots better ? Also not like going car wash at off hours noone around an traps spraslibgall over, I don't go fancy carwash an try this but old one where whoever goes, atv trailers or whatever an mud all over bay floor

That’s all I do. I put my traps in a bucket of water, let soak. Then I pull them out scrub with a wire brush and rinse them off.

Well that is what I did before I got a pressure washer.

$40.00 ???? No way. It cost me around $5.00 to do 40 or more traps. Lay them out In the bed of your truck get up there and get It done.

Easy to find $1 for so many minutes, do it all the time. Smaller singles car washes in towns. Like Beav said, have everything ready to go then put in the money.

Get the fire hose type end for the garden hose and some Dawn soap then spray away.

I'd say if the way you have been doing things works for you, keep doing it the same way. I bought a cheaper power washer last year at Harbor Freight for around $70.00 Using that worked great for me.

Garden hose off, soak the really dirty one's. Rinse off and wax them.
I only dye new traps, or ones that got the bare metal treatment.
Skunk smell traps get, lye, dye and wax treatment.

Let me sugar coat this

A smart water trapper uses the free water that is available that you set your trap in. When you pull, swish the trap will take most of the mud off. I could see different if you land trapped and had muddy caked traps. All comes down to laziness and procrastination is my guess.

Coonman- I let mine sit in 5 gal. buckets with soapy water, then rinse off. I have used the garden hose and sprayer like you said but now I have a cheap-o power washer.

Buy,or borrow a cheap pressure washer.
If you are going to use it for a lot of things around the house-buy one.
If you're like me and only use once a year or so,just borrow one from your neighbor or a buddy.

Confuisus say; man who spend $40 to wash 100 traps @ car wash will gladly accept $6 for coon skin then ask where can get more traps.

Sorry, couldn’t help myself.

I'm not drunk enough to figure that one out but buy a pressure washer and do the job yourself.
