Soak your traps first, then use a garden hose with sprayer . Won't do as good of job as a presser sprayer but better than nothing. Or put them in your dish washer but make sure the chains are wrapped up good an the misses won't be home for awhile.

Soak in buckets of soapy water for a few days. Then spray them off with the garden hose. Works fine. You are making it more difficult than it needs to be.

How did folks clean them before pressure washers?

I’ll loan you mine if you want to use it, stop by anytime.

Blue Dawn in a big ole tote full of traps. Leave in the sun for a day or so then take out and spray off.

Yup. It's easier to make excuses than do it. I would think soaking them in storage totes with dish soap would work then rinse them a few times. It would require a little effort though. Looks like the weather is going to be nice for doing that job this weekend but we'll probably still be talking about it next week. crazy

Coonman , soak your traps first . I string them together with wire and put them all in a stream by my place . If you don't have that option ask the employees at the car wash if they have any of the big (55 gal size) plastic barrels that they get their wax for the car wash in . Here , when they are empty they throw them away . Cut the top off and you will have a big container to soak anything you want in . They will hold a lot of traps and are very sturdy . Pull them out after soaking give them a quick scrub with a brush and hose them off . Cheap and only takes a little effort .

Don't buy a pressure washer, that could lead to a cracked manifold.

Coonman, just borrow your buddies pressure washer and don't return it! Tell him it be got stolen. Or just make your girlfriend get out there and scrub them traps. Make sure she rinses the grime off when she is done.
