I think these are the last set of bags I bough they are 11 inch wide and 50 feet long on each roll 100 feet for 16.99 making them 17 cents a foot

a foot makes a good soze bag , they have an 8 inch size also

the 50 foot rolls of Wesson bags don't fit inside the space in the food saver machine for the bags the roll is too fat until you have sever bags off.
not a big deal in my machine set the roll behind bring it up over in into the cutter cut several bags off then seal the end then fill with food and vac/seal

I will take a 70% savings and deal with a fat roll

when your finding that package of lost ground venison on a freezer clean out in 2020 that you packed in 2016 an it is good almost like the day you packed it.

worth it for quality of meat

the food saver is the one I have I am on my second , I buy the off brand bags on amazon or ebay

fish, lasts longer but not more than a year , you can seal the fish in water , you just start the sealer and quickly turn off the vacuum and seal only like when you make the seals on the end of each bag

a chamber vac would be pure awesome , but at over 1K I will keep carrying on with the food saver one I have

food savers brand are not the top of the line by any means most are 40-70 dollars

I will probably go with a commercial 300-400 dollar unit on my next go round

it isn't too hard to overheat the food savers if you are packing 50+ pounds of meat

Got a Foodsaver Gamesaver Bronze been using over 5 years no problems.

The latest, greatest, $140 special at Sam's. Bought a variety pack of 8-1/2" and 11" wide rolls of bags. This unit is supposed to be able to conquer both wet and dry stuff. We will see.
