Got all 4 beds built today, will fill the 3 empty ones in a couple weeks. Gonna fill the full one with salad greens tomorrow. Still so much to do, I have a lot of anxiety about the gardens this year for some reason Should be about 30 tomato plants, 50 peppers and maybe some snow peas. I don't know how I'll fit everything, but we'll get 'er done somehow. All peppers will be in 3 gallon grow bags, not in the beds
Just happy to be here.

This spring will mark my 58th garden. I was raised with a big produce stand at the road in front of the house. Those look great, fresh veggies are tops! I have a few raised beds as I live in bottom land and they are the first to dry up enough to plant. One suggestion, tie the middles together somehow. They will bow out with a fill of dirt. I have added stakes or posts but a easy way I like, is a 1/8th cable or old dog chain across the middle on the long sides. buried under the soil. Your grass is greener than mine, Those greens should take right off!
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

Northof50, I was concerned with buckling as well, but I ran 3 of these last season with no issues. I filled them with a very light mix of topsoil, promix and composted manure and was pleased with the results. These are temporary while we live at my elderly MIL's place in the burbs. Yard soil is compacted clay fill...not good for much but grass and creeping charlie LOL
Just happy to be here.

I made some 8'x4' last year from 2x12x8' Douglas Fir. Climate here is pretty dry but I wonder how long they will last considering bottom ground contact
