I’ve been looking through the Pyramid catalog and I’m intrigued. But the compressor cost is a bit off putting. The cost of the gun is one thing, but $500 - $1500 more for the compressor is a bit more than I want to spend on something with such limited use for me. They sure do look interesting.

If you're taking long shots like you describe for deer I hope you're a good tracker.

I never said I plan on taking a deer at 200 yards. But there's videos on you tube with guys killing big game out to 200 yards with this same rifle. Most all the deer I kill are 50 yards or less. I hunt the timber and I'm not big on hunting fields.

No offense intended. Merely was pointing out that even though you can kill at some distance with them they're slow enough that they don't hit with the knock down of high powered rifles. I owned a Quackenbush .308 and killed some coyotes with it but also was aware of the limitations.

But, a lot of fun and if you like a challenge they got that.

That's awesome.

Hiding our humane dispatches doesn't keep the Antis from showing their own gruesome ones. In this 1 sided story, who will the public believe, then?
