I should have bought it. About 6 years ago I seen a 91 dodge 4x4 with the Cummins in it go for 5500 bucks. Was a 2nd owner and he was an older guy that stood with the truck till it sold and answered any questions. The bed was used looking but never a fifth wheel, body had no rust but paint was peeling. 120,000 miles. Been looking around to find one now just for the fun of it but they sure have increased in price lol.

My son always said his first truck would be a Dodge Cummins , we found one 2 years ago that was a 01 that had 145000 on it and a one owner. The owner only drove it for a farm truck to the local co-op and to take cows off to the sale barn. It was a clean truck no dents and no rust . Just spent $1600.00 on it to put a new front end under it .

I've got a 93 with around 200000 on it in pretty good shape . I just inherited from dad . I'm thinking about making it my daily driver for awhile . I'm just not quite ready to take on a truck payment again just yet . The only problem ive found with it so far is the over drive is not working in told you can't get the switch to make it original but you can wire in a toggle switch to turn it on

Yep their paint often peels. No biggie
Took me 2 Years to find a 2500 with under 100,000 miles, and it was 11 years old.
Hang in there and keep looking. Don’t forget to look in neighboring states as well.

Diesels were born to pull. I bought a 99 F-250 one owner with a 6 speed with no rust and 139,000 miles. Stock rim's and tires Bare bones and rides like a lumber wagon. A perfect for me.

I used to have a 92 with a dump bed on it. Retired it and got a half ton gas job and worked the snot out of it. This past summer I retired that one and got a 05 cummins with 80k on it for only 12500. Glad to be back to the diesel.

I would jump on one if I could find a 4x4 with low miles for the right price.

My 7.3 excursion has over 385k on it and is still the wifes daily driver.

I have a 2019 2500 Bighorn with the Cummins and it is something else. Tows the 35ft travel trailer like a breeze. Hauling it three hours away on Monday on fact.

After a delete and a front end, my 11 with 185,000 has been bulletproof; minus the body. They like to rust no matter how much you wash them if you’re in an area that salts the roads. I could care less about the dodge part of it, but the Cummins is worth every penny.

Guys what kind of mileage do they get...empty and on the highway? AND how much does having the 4x4 option effect the mileage ....again highway empty? My father in law always said the Cummins was top notch.
