Where can I get some that critters won't chew through? I've seen 'em in black or white, but the trapper I spoke to said his cages were old & he couldn't remember where he got it. I'm preparing for a nuisance set-up.

I've never done it, but I think you could probably make a decent box style trap out of some of the larger diameter pieces of smooth, PVC pipe.
I met a guy who made the stove pipe style, pit traps, to catch red fox for the live market, who used large diameter, smooth PVC pipe.

Go down to your local sheet metal shop and have them cut you some 16 gauge tin. Then just hog ring It on to your trap.

Where in wi are you? I got some black plastic sheets ill give you. But an eighth thick and has fiberglass inside. Stiff stuff. I used it for everything and even built a storage shed from it. I posted it here after I bought it but never figured out where it came from to buy new. I bought it from a guy that used it to from concrete. I know I have two full sheets and a lot of smaller pieces. It's near janesville if you want it.
When you earnestly believe you can compensate for a lack of skill by doubling your efforts, there's no end to what you can't do.

Must of been a kit at one time the side rod if you look close has a adjustable trigger rod to set to the length of pipe your using. I caught skunks in so it will work on skunks, it’s kind of heavy.
