Have any of you ever seen a muskrat with some sort of disease where it affects the fur? I saw one today that the fur was gone from the back 1/3 of it’s body. The front 2/3 was normal. I have never seen one like it before.

Down to skin or under wool? Sounds like some sort of parasite.

I caught 3 outta one house like that a few winters ago. One was complete fuzz. Almost had to be another rat clipping and chewing. Just a guess.
