Gaboon's have very nice markings. Their eyes are mesmerizing and demonic at the same time. The hissing when warning you will give you a chill up your spine. They 'puff-up' (inflate their body) when agitated , almost double their size. Very intimidating snake.

No , I would not want to own one.

Cool vid , thanks for posting.

Yup thats the one .... they are pretty aint they ??

They are also pretty laid back. Not as aggressive as my African rock python that would strike at anything that moved past its terrarium.

It's been my experience that most critters packing heat are pretty laid back.

oh there is a reason keeping snakes is illegal in my town. I watched 16 seconds of that and NO

I am normally all about the you do you , the government has little place in the home , but when your "pet" kills your kid and it was illegal I will vote on that jury for manslaughter all day long.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I think that the problem snakes in FL are the Burmese Pythons . I had a couple of them ... One of them had the run of the house and slept in my bed on cool nights. He was a hoot.

When keeping any animal that can harm others one has the responsibility to keep it safe. No matter if it is a hot snake or a dog. Same principles apply just different methods.
