Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Turk, one of the sponsors was drilled regarding the various public lands, their use and regulations time and time again during the last round. The senator kept citing that each state maintains and regulates said public lands (nf, state, blm, RR etc....)

One example that most on here will know is how California manages their NF and highly regulates wood cutting. California does a poor job managing their NF which is a huge reason why their fires are so intense.

I wish I could agree, but I can’t, to many of today’s people have been raised to believe that what they feel no matter what is right, today you don’t have a pet, you have a fur baby and are a fur parent, and don’t think that wasn’t a carefully planned out strategy, animals are not animals there fur friends and deserve the same rights and benefits we do, all of this has been carefully promoted by the anti’s for a long time and implementing it a little at a time, and don’t believe their done not by a long shot, if these wackos have their way in the end their will be no pets, no farm animals or animal use of any kind, and to harm one in any manor will be the same as harming a baby, well worse actually because many of these same wackos are all for abortion

To fight all of this we would have to start at the beginning and it would take literally decades just like it has them, and I don’t think we have the time for that, we need to combat this now with whatever works and then work from there to build an actual understanding of nature, the easiest way to do that is to turn their own tactics and talking points against them and then work up from that

It used to be that reasoning was taught and stressed in school and students were expected to become independent thinkers now it’s stressed that they should feel good about everything and depend on their emotions to show them the way of right and wrong, right being whatever they believe in and makes them feel good and bad being whatever they don’t or makes them feel bad
