I think MySide can handle a decent sized rifle. I’m 5’3” 155 pounds and I can handle whatever you hand me. It’s all about what you can shoot well though. Just because you can handle a 30-06 doesn’t mean you can effectively Han a 30-06. Or whatever caliber

If you need to poke something out there a ways. 300 win mag ruger. Zytel stock. all weather model. Ordered it with factory open sights for in case. If I bugger up the scope I am still hunting. Installed a timney trigger. Hits hard. Even way out there . Saw several at Cabelas in Kansas City the other day. Had them in their classics gun room. Stock ,no scope and none I saw had iron sights. They were asking 1600. A little high IMO but they are a fine rifle. Built to stay together and accurate. Except the stock trigger. The stock trigger is horrible.

PS yes those fingerprints were wiped off with a little gun oil when I got home.

Nice iron Danny.

I just fitted my 300WM with a Boyd's stock... Itching to try it out.

I love my Mosin Nagants! Got several back in the good old days. I and my buds ring gongs at crazy long ranges with irons. But we walk em in with several shots...or more. But for short range hunting 100 yards or less its a great gun. Ammo is still on the shelf around me and 30-06 is gone. In my hunting grounds my 336 Marlin in .35 Rem does all I need.
