GE modle WJRE5500G2WW replaced board 2 months ago. The washer stoped spin cyicle where do I start to look for what broke. I took off the front. Did not see anything out of place. Filling it now to see if it washes.
The lid maganict swich looks yelow on the under side. Could it be that simple ?

Could be that switch It keeps the washer from cycling when open to avoid injury will it fill up if the dial is set to that?
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I’d Check that switch see if you can jump the 2 wires and set it to wash again it will fill if that switch is bad but not cycle if the switch is bad.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

I’d Check that switch see if you can jump the 2 wires and set it to wash again it will fill if that switch is bad but not cycle if the switch is bad. This ^ tape them together and let it run ...

Motor and pump are different things motor could be out?

Keep track of your tools...I still have a ratchet and deep well socket inside the housing of my dryer from when I replaced a pulley. Didn’t realize it until I had put it back together and wasn’t about to take it back apart. I’ll get it back when it finally quits running, whenever that is....

Probably something broken in the selector knob unit. I have found them to be the first thing to break. Could be something mechanical that broke or a switch contact fried in the knob assembly or a wire came loos on a connector. Could be a drive belt but I think you would still be able to hear the motor running but maybe not.

Always possible that the new board died too.
