Got my weekend project started. Now I'm having a cold drink and watching the grill. I'll finish the car tomorrow grin

How bad were they rusted in? I've broken some pins and I've cut a few off too

I changed out both upper and lower on my 79 Caprice. I replaced the stock rearend with a 8.5 and installed 3.73 gears. It was a posi. rearend w/3.08.

Those poly bushings sure tighten up the control. Plus the anti-sway bar that came with it. Plus a 1.5 inch diameter bar in the front w/poly links.

Good things for good reasons.

Yep, the uppers were the only thing on the rear I hadn't upgraded. I had new gears put in over the winter and found out the bushings were shot, so ordered the control arms also
