Doing some clean up in the garage and I have a pile of wooden coon stretchers and a flashing beam to put away. I was thinking about putting them in the garage attic but I am unsure if the heat would warp or crack them up there?

Do you have end vents in your garage or good air flow,if not I would be scared of warping. My garage has a metal roof and gets warm enough that it warped a wooden bed frame I put up their to store.

I have been storing my wood stretchers on my trusses in the garage for decades and I have a black color shingle on my roof. I would be more concerned about making sure they are clean and free of fat and mold more so then if they will warp in the heat. I have rat, mink, coon, fox and coyote boards stored that way.
