Ave OP trapper Joined: Oct 2016 Posts: 992 Ohio, USA	Hey guys, I was recently given an old trap and have no idea what it is. It believe it’s a 280 sized trap, and it has the same jaw design as a belisle. It has the old wire dog, and strange springs. If my measurements are correct, it has an 8.5 x 9 inch jaw spread. I’m puzzled. Anyone have any idea? Thanks!!! Ave don't go where the beaver don't flow

~ADC~ The Count Joined: Jun 2010 Posts: 16,369 Iowa	These other two are correct of course. Drill out that rivet, replace the wire and put a small bolt and nut in place of the old rivet and you'll have a good trap, ready to roll.
