Looking at the 555 Compact in 20 gauge for the lady of the house. She found it to fit her better than anything else we could find. Anyone have any experience with this gun? Just looking for a trap/skeet entry level option?

it is a nice looking gun , it is a Turkish import , imported by Savage
the Tri star , stoger , or a few others if it is a OU under 1000 dollars it is probably a Turkish gun
I have shot the tri-star it was a nice entry level over and under
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Next question? 5'6 - 120# female. 20 or 28 gauge? 20 is in stock, 28 might be able to order? Suggestions from anyone with a female shooter in the family? Strangely, there is more 28 gauge ammo on the shelf, at the moment.

Got an elcheapo Tri Star 20ga that my DIL shoots just fine. I値l take it to a Woodie shoot or some early season dove shoots and have taken many limits with it. Nice little gun and I知 sure the Savage is comparable. They are about the same gun, both imported from Turkey. I'm leaning towards the 20, but have a friend trying to talk me into the 28. Heck, maybe I'll just buy them all from .410 - 12 gauge.
